Eagles’ rally topples Rams

Travis Corigliano scored 11 points as Lakeside rallied to defeat visiting Riverside 49-42 in a Great Northern League game Tuesday night at Nine Mile Falls.

Garrett Perkins added 10 points, six rebounds and three steals for the Eagles (6-5, 2-1), who went on a 13-2 run to close the game.

Jason Paul had 12 points and 10 rebounds for the Rams (6-3, 1-1). Caleb Watt added 10 points.

•Jesse Butcher scored 23 points, and Justin Taylor had 17 points and 11 rebounds as St. John-Endicott routed visiting Rosalia 74-30 in a Whitman County League game at St. John. Brent Leifer added 11 points and nine assists for the Eagles (10-2, 5-0), who led 41-16 at halftime. Kris Widman scored nine to lead the Spartans (5-7, 3-2). … Kelly Cook scored 17 points and Austin Cook added 16 as Tekoa-Oakesdale (7-4, 4-1) beat Garfield-Palouse 72-56 in Palouse. Brian Boyd scored 20 for the Vikings (3-8, 2-3). … Matt Martin scored 17 points to lead LaCrosse-Washtucna (6-5, 2-3) to a 55-41 victory over host Colton (1-11, 0-5).

•Brandon Holibaugh had 15 points and 10 rebounds as Kettle Falls defeated visiting Curlew 66-48 in a non-league game. Casey McKern added eight points and 10 rebounds for the Bulldogs (12-2). Jason Azzarito also scored eight, including a 65-foot shot to end the first half. Austin Mannick and Tyler Carlson led the Cougars (9-2) with 13 points apiece. … Eric Betz scored 19 points to lead Newport to a 52-35 victory over host Cusick. David McFall added 11 points for the Grizzlies (2-8), who outrebounded the Panthers 37-25. Brandon Scott scored 11 to lead Cusick (6-4). … Adam Bruya scored nine of his 10 points in the first quarter and Brian Danaher scored 14 for the game as Colfax (9-2) cruised to a 72-53 victory over visiting Warden. Jorge Duarte scored 17 points to lead the Cougars. … Kyle McNeil scored 18 points as the Chewelah JV defeated host Northport 66-61. Tucker Guglielmino scored 19 for Northport (2-9).

•Michael Taylor scored 20 points, and Brewster shot 11 of 17 from 3-point range en route to a 91-55 victory over visiting Lake Roosevelt in a Caribou Trail League game. Coby Dick and Matt Pleasants scored 13 apiece for the Raiders (4-7, 0-1).
