ML pins loss on Stags

Ty Sauders earned an overtime victory at 135 pounds Tuesday to lead Medical Lake to a 37-30 victory over host Deer Park in a Great Northern League dual.

Freshman Justin Eldred (103), Brandon Leliefeld (125) and Ryan Jorgenson (140) also earned key victories for the Cardinals.

Viktor Nesenchuk registered one of five pins for Deer Park, earning a 130-pound victory with 9 seconds remaining.

In other GNL action, Jon Millard, last year’s 160-pound state champion, earned one of Lakeside’s six pins with a win at 171 as the Eagles defeated host Pullman 46-27.
