“ Three area students were recently awarded scholarships from Washington State University for the 2005-06 academic year.

Benjamin Floyd received a $1,500 George and Lucille Hardgrove Scholarship. Floyd, a 2004 graduate of Shadle Park High School, is studying civil engineering. He is the son of Diane and Kim Floyd of Spokane.

Jason Graham received a $2,000 Alfred Suksdorf Memorial Scholarship. Graham, the son of Janice and John Graham of Spokane, is a 2004 graduate of Shadle Park High School. His is studying electrical engineering at WSU.

Lindsey Krausse received a $1,500 scholarship from the Mike and Jean Dragnich Endowment Fund. Krausse, a 2005 graduate of Republic High School, is studying bioengineering. She is the daughter of Sarah and Ronald Krausse of Republic, Wash.

Gaeb Windsor received a $1,500 scholarship from the Mike and Jean Dragnich Endowment Fund. Windsor, who is studying civil engineering, is the son of Nancy and Casey Gidding of Republic. He is a 2005 graduate of Republic High School.

“ Tricia Johnson of Spokane recently graduated from Colorado State University with a bachelor’s degree in economics. Johnson, a 2002 graduate of Mead High School, is the daughter of Linda Klavano and Jim Johnson, both of Spokane.
