Man wanted in motor vehicle theft

Secret Witness is offering a cash reward for information leading to the arrest of Benjamin Gordon Swofford Jr., a Spokane man with a lengthy criminal history.

The 28-year-old man is wanted on a felony warrant involving the theft of a motor vehicle.

Swofford has 17 convictions including rape, possession of stolen property and theft. He is listed as a repeat offender and a “caution” suspect for law enforcement officers.

He is a white male weighing 195 pounds and is 5 feet 8 inches tall. Swofford has blond hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information on Swofford’s whereabouts should call Secret Witness at (509) 327-5111. Callers are asked to use a code name or a number and do not have to give their own name to be eligible for the cash reward.
