Idaho dealt ninth straight loss

FRESNO, Calif. – Ja’Vance Coleman shot 6 of 8 behind the arc – all in the first half – and finished with a game-high 22 points to lead Fresno State to a 89-54 Western Athletic Conferencemen’s basketball victory over Idaho on Monday night.

Fresno State (11-8, 4-4 WAC) finished 14 of 28 from the 3-point line, tying the Save Mart Center record. The Bulldogs shot 53.4 percent overall.

Quinton Hosley added 14 points, eight rebounds and four blocks for the Bulldogs, who led by as much as 44 points in handing Idaho (3-15, 0-7) its ninth consecutive loss.

The Vandals have not won since Dec. 21.

Idaho, which shot 33.9 percent and less than 35 percent for the fifth time this season, got 11 points from Tanoris Shepard and 10 from Brett Ledbetter.
