Let us hail the hunky Holloway
Josh Holloway, who plays con man Sawyer on the hit ABC series “Lost,” has been named the “hottest hunk” on television by In Touch Weekly.
The mag says Holloway, 36, is the best of today’s small-screen studs, even surpassing castmate Matthew Fox.
Fox, who plays Jack on the Emmy-winning drama series, placed ninth on the Top 10 list.
“Lost” co-star Evangeline Lilly says of Holloway: “He’s the guy who opens doors, carries the bags for woman and makes sure they feel protected. It’s a very endearing quality.”
But sorry, ladies – Holloway has been married to Yessica Kumula since 2004.
Second on the list is John Stamos of ABC’s “Jake in Progress.” The 42-year-old actor, who previously starred on “Full House,” was divorced from Rebecca Romijn last year.
In Touch says Stamos is still a hunk because he “has been twinkling those green eyes at us for 20 years.”
Also on the list: Jared Padalecki (“Supernatural”), David Boreanaz (“Bones”), Wentworth Miller (“Prison Break”), Eddie Cibrian (“Invasion”), Patrick Dempsey (“Grey’s Anatomy”), Shemar Moore (“Criminal Minds”) and Tom Welling (“Smallville”).
Alba female
More guys want Jessica Alba for their girlfriend than any other woman, according to AskMen.com.
Alba, 24, tops the Web site’s list ranking female celebrities on their “long-term relationship material.” Alba is followed by “Alfie” star Sienna Miller and the ubiquitous Angelina Jolie.
Readers of the online magazine were asked to vote for the woman they would most want a relationship with, would consider marrying or thought best-suited to be the mother of their children.
The rest of the top 10: Brazilian model Adriana Lima (No. 1 last year), “Access Hollywood” correspondent Maria Menounos, Charlize Theron, Jessica Biel, singer Amerie, Natalie Portman and Eva Longoria.
Britney Spears – a mainstay of such lists in previous years – failed to chart.
‘Idol’ wishes
Choosing the next “American Idol” can wreak havoc on the social life. Just ask Paula Abdul.
The “Idol” judge will team up with Dr. Phil to find her latest beau on “Love Smart,” a CBS prime-time special scheduled to air on Valentine’s Day.
They will “explore the life of an unmarried international celebrity who is looking for love,” specifically from a guy who isn’t “overwhelmed by her emotions.”
Bull market
Brooke Shields, pregnant with her second child, says of her baby due in May: “It’s a girl!”
“I’m thrilled for my daughter to have a little friend,” says Shields, adding: “Two Tauruses, it’s a huge trick being played on me.”
Her other daughter, Rowan, 2, also was born in May.
Shields, 40, chronicled her post-pregnancy experiences in a memoir, “Down Came the Rain: My Journey Through Postpartum Depression.”
All’s well, ends well
“Baby Jessica,” whose dramatic rescue from an abandoned Texas well was televised across the country 18 years ago, is now a wife.
Jessica McClure, 19, married Daniel Morales, 32, on Saturday. They met at a day-care center where Morales’ sister worked with McClure.
Crews struggled for 58 hours to rescue her after she fell into an 8-inch-wide pipe in 1987.
