It’s dogs like Hemi who give mixed breeds a good name. He’s got the face of a rottweiler and the disposition of a Lab. Hemi presents like a guard dog, but once released from the confines of his pen, he is sweet, calm and attentive. Over the past 10 months, this young boy has grown up in the shelter. He’s adapted well to this less-than-ideal situation and will undoubtedly thrive in a loving home with regular playmates. Hemi is not yet neutered and will need to have that done within 30 days of adoption. Visit the Coeur d’Alene Animal Shelter at 125 Hazel, or call 665-7379 to learn more.
