Yohannan Cabin

The Spokesman-Review

Where: Priest Lake, Idaho

History: Francis “Yoh” and Rosemary Yohannan acquired the property in the early 1960s and completed the family A-frame cabin in 1965.

Primary use: “Sabbaticals.” Enjoying the slower pace of life.

Memories: “Both my brothers and I pretty much grew up there,” says 50-something Sandra Yohannan Dodge. “When my brothers were about 8 and 11 years old they would take our little rowboat with its 3.5 horsepower engine and motor to Upper Priest to fish and camp for a couple of days.”

Plans to keep it in family: Property was passed “through the bloodline” to Sandra Yohannan Dodge, who will pass it along to sons Ross, 26, and Jonathan, 24.
