Leslie dominates in Sparks’ win

Lisa Leslie had 22 points, 15 rebounds and eight assists to help the Los Angeles Sparks defeat the Indiana Fever 72-60 Friday night.

Chamique Holdsclaw added 18 points for the Sparks, who won for the fourth time in five games.

Anna DeForge scored a season-high 26 points for the Fever.

Shock 92, Lynx 80: At Minneapolis, Swin Cash scored 19 points and Kendra Holland-Corn added 15 as Detroit defeated Minnesota.

Detroit sent the Lynx to their sixth loss in seven games by posting its highest-scoring game of the season. Katie Smith, traded from Minnesota to Detroit last July 30, finished with 11 points and five assists.

Monarchs 73, Mystics 60: At Washington, Kara Lawson and Nicole Powell each scored 12 points to lead Sacramento to a victory over Washington.

Silver Stars 94, Comets 75: At San Antonio, Agnieska Bibrzycka scored 17 points and was 4 of 5 from 3-point range to lead San Antonio over Houston.

Sky 78, Liberty 73: At Chicago, Candice Dupree had 20 points and six rebounds to help Chicago beat New York.
