Volleyball tourney scheduled

North Idaho College’s Outdoor Pursuits program will host a 2-on-2 beach volleyball tournament next Saturday and July 30.

The Hot Foot Classic will begin at 8 a.m. at the sand volleyball courts on NIC’s beach on the west end of Coeur d’Alene City Beach.

The tournament is open to adults and will be divided into several divisions, including men’s and women’s teams on Saturday and coed teams on Sunday. Merchandise and cash prizes will be awarded to winners in each division.

Teams can submit entry forms and the $30 per team registration fee to the Sunspot Hut on the beach anytime before the start of the tournament. Those without teammates can sign up as individuals and organizers will match them up with other players the day of the tournament.
