Indians capitalize on error, beat Everett
EVERETT – Nickolas Cadena scored off an error by third baseman Leury Bonilla in the top of the ninth inning, giving the Spokane Indians (15-24) a 4-3 win over the Everett AquaSox (17-22) in Northwest League baseball action Friday.
The victory ended the Indians’ 4-game losing streak.
Left-fielder Christopher Davis provided most of the offense for the Indians. Davis hit a solo home run in the top of the second inning, his league-leading ninth of the season, giving Spokane an early 1-0 lead. He finished 3 for 4 with an RBI and run scored. John Slusarz (2-2) picked up the win for Spokane.
