Stroll and Roll fund Walk – Riverview Retirement Community, 1801 E. Upriver Drive, is presenting this fun walk for seniors to get active and moving, today at 9:30 a.m. Tours of the retirement community will also be available, and a free barbecue will follow the walk. Mindful Living with Chronic Illness – This six-week series of classes will discuss the skills needed to respond effectively to illness, pain, stress and the challenges for daily living for women living with chronic illnesses. RiverFest and Group Health Cycling the Bridges – This free cycling event will cross over 11 crossings over the Spokane River, primarily through Riverfront Park. Fat-tire bicycles are recommended, and helmets are required. Meets at 8:30 a.m. for registration Saturday at Highbridge Park.
