The Fourth of July coloring contest is open to kids ages 12 and younger. Entries will be judged on creativity and use of medium.

How to enter: Cut out the template below and color, paint or decorate it.

Fill out the coupon at the right and tape it to the backside of your artwork. Be sure to include your phone number, so we can contact you if you’re a winner. And be sure to check the box if you would like to have your art sent to Washington military men and women serving overseas.

Send or deliver your artwork so it gets to us no later than 5 p.m. June 21. Mail entries to The Spokesman-Review, P.O. Box 2160, Spokane, WA 99210 or deliver to the main office at 999 W. Riverside Ave. in downtown Spokane.

We’ll pick our favorites and highlight the winners in the newspaper on July 3. Three winners in each age division (0-4, 5-8 and 9-12) will receive day passes to Riverfront Park.

As many of the entries as possible will be hung along the walls at Mobius Kids in River Park Square from July 1 through July 9.
