Koppen latest from NIC to join Idaho

Wing Lindsey Koppen has become the third women’s basketball player to transfer from North Idaho College to the University of Idaho, Vandals coach Mike Divilbiss announced Thursday.

Koppen earned second-team all-Scenic West Athletic Conference honors last season while averaging 10.8 points per game and hitting nearly 32 percent of her 3-point attempts.

Koppen played the last two seasons at NIC with incoming Vandals players Sara Dennehy and Stephanie Jones.
