RiverHawks storm back during eighth
KELOWNA, British Columbia – Paul Martin’s two-run single sparked a six-run eighth inning Saturday as the Spokane RiverHawks rallied to defeat the Kelowna Falcons 8-3 in the West Coast Collegiate Baseball League.
Luke Farden of the RiverHawks (1-1) struck out seven in six innings. Cale Ort pitched the final three innings for the victory.
The season-opening, three-game series concludes this afternoon.
Spokane opens a three-game set Monday against the Kitsap BlueJackets at Bremerton, Wash.
