Four to watch

Four of the players the Sonics appear to be considering:

Rodney Carney, g-f, Memphis, 6-7, 205 (17.2 ppg, 4.3 rpg)

Strengths: Can hit long-range and midrange shots; good defender.

Weaknesses: Needs to bulk up; inconsistent at times.

Cedric Simmons, f, North Carolina State, 6-9, 235 (11.8 ppg, 6.3 rpg)

Strengths: Runs the floor well; doesn’t shy away from contact.

Weaknesses: Lacks low-post game; needs to get in better shape.

Ronnie Brewer, g, Arkansas, 6-7, 220 (18.4 ppg, 3.3 apg)

Strengths: Quick first step; good court vision; active on defense.

Weaknesses: Needs to be more consistent with his effort.

Mouhamed Saer Sene, f, (Senegal), 6-11, 230 (3.1 ppg, 4.1 rpg)

Strengths: Passion for blocking shots; runs the floor well.

Weaknesses: Limited offensive skills; still raw.
