Blue Jays 7, Mets 4: At Toronto, Vernon Wells homered twice and the Blue Jays ended New York’s franchise-record, nine-game road winning streak.
Indians 4, Reds 0: At Cleveland, Paul Byrd pitched eight shutout innings while Todd Hollandsworth and Grady Sizemore both homered to lead the Indians over Cincinnati.
White Sox 6, Astros 5 (10): At Chicago, Joe Crede tied the game with a seventh-inning grand slam and Alex Cintron singled home the winning run with the bases loaded in the 10th to lead the White Sox past Houston for their ninth straight victory.
Red Sox 5, Phillies 3 (10): At Boston, David Ortiz hit his seventh career walk-off homer after Jonathan Papelbon pitched 2 1/3 innings of clutch relief and the Red Sox beat Philadelphia in 10 innings.
Twins 3, Cubs 0: At Minneapolis, Boof Bonser threw 6 1/3 scoreless innings to overshadow Mark Prior’s second start of the season in Minnesota’s victory over Chicago.
Devil Rays 3, Atlanta 2: At St. Petersburg, Fla., Tim Corcoran threw a solid five innings in his first start of the season and Rocco Baldelli had a run-scoring triple as Tampa Bay beat Atlanta.
Orioles 3, Nationals 2: At Baltimore, Ramon Hernandez singled in the winning run with two outs in the ninth, giving Baltimore a victory over Washington.
Tigers 7, Cardinals 6 (10): At Detroit, Placido Polanco’s two-out double in the 10th scored Curtis Granderson and lifted Detroit to a win over St. Louis.
Royals 6, Brewers 5: At Kansas City, Mo., David DeJesus doubled in a five-run fourth inning that was keyed by back-to-back Milwaukee fielding errors as Kansas City rallied for a victory over the Brewers.
Rockies 11, Rangers 6: At Denver, Choo Freeman hit his second career home run during a six-run first inning, leading Colorado to a win over Texas.
Angels 6, Diamondbacks 4 (13): At Phoenix, Robb Quinlan’s two-run homer in the 13th carried Los Angeles past Arizona.
