Car crashes into dental office

A suspected drunken driver recently drove a 1984 Thunderbird into the wall of a dentist’s office at 720 N. Argonne Road.

No one was hurt in the crash. Employees of dentist Philip Rudy’s office were in a meeting last Thursday when police say the car plowed partially into a room where they normally would be working.

Police arrested Tad R. Stephens on charges of driving under the influence, Sgt. Dave Reagan of the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office said in a press release.

Police say Stephens was northbound on Mullan and hit the building off Mullan Road after he veered off the road.
