“A Day Away” – youth conference for students in grades 9-12 who are interested or involved in peer education. Sponsored by the Spokane Regional Health District March 22 in the Lair Student Union Building, Spokane Community College, 1810 N. Greene. Cost is $15; deadline for registration is next Thursday. Corbin Art Center Kids Spring Break Camp – For ages 5-12, April 3-7, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., at the Corbin Art Center, 507 W. Seventh Ave. Classes include: Mystery Camp, April 3; Collage in the Style of Eric Carle, April 4; Clay Works, April 4; Wacky Critters Camp, April 5; A Look at Impressionist Artists through Children’s Literature, April 6; Spring Crafts, April 6; and Hogwarts Adventure, April 7. Each class is $28; supervised lunch period provided, please send lunch. Pre-registration is required by calling 625-6677.
