Support ‘little miracles’ taking place every day
I am a first-year principal at Orchard Center Elementary in West Valley School District. One of the things I enjoy most about being a principal is getting to be a “fly on the wall.” I can go into any classroom and simply observe what’s taking place any time I want.
That is a luxury not afforded to all of our constituents. If it were, I don’t think we’d ever have a difficult time passing a replacement levy. Voters would see all the little miracles taking place in classrooms every day, the amount of time, energy and love given to each child, and the absolute commitment to excellence exuded by our educators.
I am very proud to say that I am a part of the West Valley family, and I hope that everyone who has the opportunity will mark their ballot “yes” and send it off in the mail.
