Environmental Sustainability – Mike Petersen, executive director of the Land Council, speaks on efforts to protect the region’s forests and rivers, 7 p.m. April 10 at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 4340 W. Car Care Month – Free vehicle inspections run by SCC students to check fluids, belts, tire pressure, lights and more, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. April 15 at SCC, 1810 N. Green St. There will also be auto and safety exhibits; 477-4727, ext. 114.
