Bone Basics – This class will discuss the causes, prevention and treatment of osteoporosis today, with bone density screenings from 5:30-6:30 p.m. and a class from 6:30-8:30 at Deaconess Health and Education Center, 800 W. Know Your Healthy Steps – Learn how exercise can affect diabetes management, Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Deaconess Health Education Center. Participants will receive a free pedometer and Bayer glucometer. Registration required. Call 232-8145.

Mental Health Month Show and Resource Fair – OnStage! will present the musical performance “Shine” Friday in the Lair at Spokane Community College, 1810 N. Greene St. A 1 p.m. performance is free and for those with disabilities. The 7 p.m. presentation is open to the public for a $10 donation to benefit OnStage!
