VANCOUVER — If the Moose Jaw Warriors don’t find a way to shut down Vancouver Giants star Gilbert Brule, the Western Hockey League final will be over before they know it.

Brule scored three goals and added three assists Saturday to lead the Giants to a 7-5 victory and a 2-0 series lead over the Warriors.

Spencer Machacek, Cody Franson, Mitch Bartley and J.D. Watt also scored for Vancouver, which has won 10 straight games.

Dustin Boyd, with two, Ian McKenzie, Troy Brouwer and Blair Jones scored for Moose Jaw, which was outshot 33-16.
