Rick Fisher has been hired as president of private banking at Intermountain Community Bank. He has over 17 years of community banking experience and is a graduate of Washington State University.

Taylor Engineering has hired Larry Ayers as a survey party chief. He has over 30 years of experience.

Wendy Mauro has been hired as material planner/buyer at Garco Building Systems. She previously worked at Jenisys Engineering and has worked in the metal building components industry since 1978.

The Spokane Regional Chamber of Commerce has hired Janet Bacon as a membership account executive. She has 15 years of customer service and sales experience and previously worked at UPS.

Jesse Etter has joined Farmers Insurance. He previously worked as a restaurant manager and has opened a Farmers Insurance office in north Spokane.

Dan Hiebert has been hired as chief revenue officer at Duvoisin & Associates. He previously worked as an associate administrator and is working toward his masters in business administration at Gonzaga University.

Tony Rugel has been hired as head of the Eastern Washington division of the Attorney General’s Medicaid Fraud Control Unit. Rugel is an assistant attorney general and previously worked as counsel for the Washington State Senate. He is a 1993 graduate of the Seattle University School of Law.

Inland Cardiology Associates has hired Paul Fontana. He received his master’s degree in nursing and family nurse practitioner specialization from the University of California.

Marcus Anderson has been hired as a program manager in the power products team at Telect. He previously worked as director of program management at Keytronic Corp.

PROMOTED

Kevin Person has been promoted at Wagstaff Inc. to vice president of sales and marketing. He has over 29 years of experience in the aluminum industry and has been with the company for seven years and previously managed the applications engineering department.

Richard Nixon has been promoted to executive vice president and chief credit officer at bankcda. He has over 25 years of banking experience and has been with the bank since September 2005.

Traci Hess, an information systems assistant professor at Washington State University, has been promoted to associate dean of graduate programs at WSU’s College of Business. She has been at WSU since 2002.

The KXLY Broadcast Group has promoted Debbie Sieverding to director of sales for KXLY ABC 4, Radio and New Media. She previously worked as the local television sales manager and has 25 years of experience.

KUDOS

Juli Evans has earned the Graduate Realtor Institute designation from the Washington Association of Realtors. Evans is a sales associate at Keller Williams Realty Spokane.

Paulette Ketner has received the Excellence in Public Health Award from the Idaho Public Health Association. Ketner has been a nurse for the Panhandle Health District serving Bonners Ferry for the last 28 years.

Paul Dumais, a vice president, financial consultant at D.A. Davidson & Co., has been named to the President’s Club for his performance and outstanding service to clients.

The Washington State University School of Architecture and Construction Management has recognized Duane Brelsford, a real estate developer, with an honorary bachelor’s degree in construction management.

Kay Kindig of Coeur d’Alene has been awarded a “Health Hero” award from the Panhandle Health District. She is the director of the Panhandle Public Health Foundation.

ELECTED

Greg Deckard has been elected chairman of the board at State National Bank. He is also the president and chief executive officer of the bank and has been working in the banking industry for over 20 years. Deckard has been with State National Bank since 1999.

Art Brown has joined the board of directors at Blue Water Technologies. The former president and chief executive officer of Hecla Mining Co., Brown still is chairman of that company’s board.

Idaho Gov. Dirk Kempthorne has appointed Joyce Broadsword to the 2010 Idaho Olympic Committee. Broadsword is an Idaho state senator from Sagle.
