Phillies 2, Reds 0: At Cincinnati, Jon Lieber took a perfect game into the seventh and gave up two hits in 8 2/3 innings to help Philadelphia beat the Reds.

Mets 9, Brewers 8: At Milwaukee, Paul Lo Duca hit a tiebreaking solo home run in the top of ninth inning to lift New York over the Brewers.

Giants 6, Dodgers 5: At San Francisco, Omar Vizquel’s ninth-inning sacrifice fly capped a four-run rally as the Giants beat Los Angeles. Barry Bonds was 0 for 3.

Rockies 2, Astros 1: At Houston, Luis Gonzalez and Todd Helton hit RBI singles to lead Colorado over the Astros.

Cardinals 9, Diamondbacks 1: At St. Louis, Albert Pujols and Scott Rolen homered as the Cardinals romped past Arizona.
