Feature creature: Snuggles

Christopher Rodkey Staff writer

Though she was found in a cardboard box set out next to the train tracks, Snuggles is just about the friendliest and most loving cat you’ll come across. She can’t stand to be away from you for a minute, but she’s not so clingy that she’ll start crying if you’re not there.

In the play room, Snuggles jumps softly from the floor up to your lap, where she’ll ease herself into a relaxing position. She’s a black cat with a white chest and white paws and pretty brown eyes.

Anyone interested in adopting this cat or other animals can visit the SCRAPS shelter at 2521 N. Flora Road, call the shelter at 477-2532 or visit the Web site at www.spokanecounty.org/animal. Cats cost $55.68 to adopt, which includes a license, neutering, vaccinations, a microchip implant and a trip to the veterinarian.
