Western Washington wins
Adam Perry fired a 6-yard touchdown pass to Travis McKee at the 7:35 mark of the fourth quarter and the Western Washington Vikings rallied for a 10-6 victory over the Augustana Vikings in North Central Conference football action Saturday in Bellingham.
Augustana (5-5, 3-5) led 6-0 at the half on a pair of field goals by Ryan Grossman.
Western Washington (4-6, 2-5) cut the lead to 6-3 at the end of the third quarter on a 28-yard field goal by Robby Smith.
Minnesota State 33, Central Washington 17: The Mavericks (4-6, 2-5) scored 33 unanswered points en route to a victory over the Wildcats (6-4, 3-4) in NCC play in Ellensburg.
Central Washington led 17-0 after quarterback Mike Reilly connected with Josh Boonstra for a 17-yard TD with 1:49 left in the first half.
But Melvin Matlock returned the ensuing kickoff 100 yards for a touchdown.
