Ballots must be in mail today

Ballots can still be mailed, but they have to be postmarked by today, so procrastinators might want to take them to a post office or a voter service center or drop-off box set up by the county elections office.

Voters are expected to bring their ballots, and the envelopes still have to be signed. Voters who have lost their ballots can get a provisional ballot at the service centers. In Spokane County, the service centers have special devices that allow voters with disabilities to cast ballots without help.

Here are the locations of drop-off boxes and voter service centers for Spokane and the surrounding Eastern Washington counties. Last pickup is 8 p.m. unless otherwise noted:
