Millwood City Council – The City Council had a quick meeting and listened to a presentation from a representative of Project Access, which provides health care to low-income residents and uninsured residents. (Source: Town Clerk Eva Colomb)

Valley Fire – Commissioners discussed concerns about emergency access from Station 5 during a proposed project to reconstruct Sullivan Road near Interstate 90 next year. They also discussed revenue projections for 2007. A special meeting was set for 4 p.m. Monday at Station 1 to review the 2007 budget. Fairfield City Council – Council members discussed the tax levies and the preliminary budget for 2007. The water rate for water used by outside agencies was changed to one penny per gallon, changed from $20.15 for the first 3,750 gallons. A new clerk/treasurer was hired. Edgecliff SCOPE – Volunteers discussed caroling in the neighborhood using the Edgecliff train. The purchase of two coffeepots was approved. The recent spaghetti feed fundraiser went well, attracting well over 200 people. (Source: Rick Scott)
