Heather Arnone had 17 points to lead Post Falls to a 74-47 win over Lewiston in an Inland Empire League game in Post Falls.

Kandice McArthur added 16 points for the Trojans (2-0, 1-0), who shot 27 of 33 from the free-throw line.

Brittney Devorak had 12 points for the Bengals (0-1, 0-1), who shot just 9 of 25 from the free-throw line.

Sean Topp and Denise Schmidt both added eight points for Post Falls.

“ Lake City built a 21-4 first-quarter lead and beat host Madison 55-23 in a non-league season opener. Emma Hawn scored 16 points for the Timberwolves and Katie Baker added 12. Brittany Bemis added nine points for the Lake City, including two 3-pointers. The Timberwolves built a 31-10 halftime lead and never looked back. … In another non-league season opener, Kama Griffitts scored 16 points as Coeur d’Alene easily beat host Rigby 90-25. Amy Warbrick scored all her 12 points in the first quarter as the Vikings (1-0) built a 25-6 lead. Deanna Dotts added 13 points for Coeur d’Alene.

Bailey Hewitt scored six points and grabbed 15 rebounds as Clark Fork beat Mullan 43-27 at the Silver Valley Tournament in Kellogg. Fawn Story led the Tigers with 14 points and 23 rebounds. The Wampus Cats came out strong in the third quarter, outscoring Mullan 13-6. Clark Fork outscored the Tigers 29-10 in the second half. Clark Fork improves to 1-0 on the season while Mullan drops to 1-1. … Also at the Silver Valley Tournament, Kellogg built a 21-4 halftime lead and beat Timberlake 40-14. Amanda Seeling led the Wildcats with 20 points. Kellogg outscored Timberlake 10-0 in the second quarter. Kellogg plays Bonners Ferry today at 7:30 in the championship game. Timberlake and Wallace will battle for third place. … Scores of Friday’s other games were not reported.
