“For the Apple Cup I’m having the steering committee for the stadium committee at my house. They come from 11 to 2. … We’re kind of celebrating the start of the demolition of the stadium on December 5th. … If it was earlier this year my daughters would be playing soccer at 10 o’clock or 9 o’clock and I’d be driving all around town. … With three daughters, usually something’s going on. … At 2:30 I’m speaking to the apple growers. Their group is getting together in the corporate tent here in Beasley (Coliseum). … I have my box and I invite major supporters of the program. I have those folks in there so I have to be civil during the game. But you know, I do get quiet, I do yell now and then. My wife will tell me to quiet down. And I’m a very nervous eater, so hot dogs, whatever, that goes in. I’ll overeat during the game because I’m a pacer and I’m worried about it until it’s well in hand one way or the other. … Eight to 10 minutes left in the game I’ll go down on the field and afterward talk to Bill (Doba).”
