Football officials praised

The Spokesman-Review

I want to compliment the officiating crew in last Saturday’s football game between Ohio State and Michigan. They called the obvious, important fouls but on the average, they let the players play.

I don’t think anyone would say the game could have been more exciting nor that officials made, or didn’t make, bad, unnecessary calls.

It’s nice to watch a game without whistle-happy officials. Hopefully other officials got the “message.”
