Log in to .TXT on Monday

Look for the debut tomorrow of .TXT, The Spokesman-Review’s expanded technology section.

Named after the extension for computer text files, .TXT will focus entirely on online trends and Web innovations. Content will range from reviews of Web sites and services, updates on Internet trends, explainers, a peek at the bookmarked Web sites of notable locals and Frank Sennett’s Blogspotter column. The content that appears in print also can be found online at spokesmanreview.com/blogs/txt, complete with links to the sites mentioned.

Staff reporter Tom Sowa will be writing and aggregating the information that’ll appear in .TXT each week; if you have a tip on a great site or a story idea, contact him at toms@spokesman.com.

To make room for the two-page .TXT section, the Opinion page will be moving to a new location. On Mondays only, you’ll find Opinion in front of .TXT.
