“Coeur d’Alene Bible Church, 5350 N. Fourth St., Coeur d’Alene, is hosting the Steeling the Mind Bible Conference next Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Speakers from across the country will discuss such topics as evolution versus creation, Israel and Bible prophecy.

Concerts
“The Unity Church of Truth, 2900 S. Bernard St., is presenting “Broadway on Bernard” today.
The evening will begin at 6 p.m. with wine and hors d’oeuvres, and the show begins at 7 p.m. Performers all come from Spokane Civic Theatre and Interplayers.
Advance tickets are $20 for general admission, $25 for reserved seating ($30 tickets at the door).

“The Spokane Area Children’s Chorus will perform Sunday at 4 p.m. at Westminster Congregational United Church of Christ, 411 S. Washington St.
The chorus’ five choirs will perform music from many cultures.

Workshops
“Westminster Congregational Church, 411 S. Washington St., is presenting “Soul Feast,” a weekend of workshops focusing on spiritual growth and church leadership, Friday and next Saturday.
The event begins Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. with a panel of pastors discussing, “Whoever you are, wherever you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here.”
Next Saturday, there will be nine different workshops from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

“Joe Asbury will present a “Christian Will Seminar” Wednesday through Friday at Arden Faith Baptist Church, 673 Arden Hill Road, Colville.
On Wednesday at 7 p.m., Asbury will discuss the importance of making out a will to protect estates and establish guardianship of young children. On Thursday and Friday, he will take appointments to discuss wills and trusts one-on-one.

“Ancient Traditions Community Church, 1928 E. Rich Ave., is offering “Finding Your Own Voice,” a singing workshop, next Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Festivals and sales
“Green Bluff Community United Methodist Church, 9908 E. Green Bluff Road, is presenting its annual Apple Festival Craft and Bake Sale today, Sunday, next Saturday and Oct. 22.
Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and noon to 5 p.m. Sundays. Sale items include crafts, apple pie and dumplings, and there will be entertainment.

“Heritage Congregational Church, 1801 E. 29th Ave., is presenting its annual Pilgrim Harvest Festival and Dinner next Saturday from 3 to 6 p.m.
The dinner will feature roast turkey, gruel, cranberry sauce and baked cod.
Early registration ends today and is $9 for those 12 and older and $5 for ages 5 through 11. At the door, the cost is $12 for adults and $6 for children. Children 4 and under will be admitted free.
Some of the proceeds will benefit the church’s building improvement fund and a portion of the admission price is tax-deductible.
