My favorite car: 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass Convertible

The Spokesman-Review

Name: Donna Larson, Spokane.

Purchased: In 1972, new, from the Oldsmobile Division GMC. It was the last Olds Cutlass Convertible off the assembly line when Olds stopped making the Convertible Cutlass.

Why I love it: It only had 20,400 miles on it. This picture was taken on Oct. 5, 2006. I put the car in storage when my sons started driving. It is only taken out of storage and driven for special occasions. Since then, I have owned several other Oldsmobiles, a couple Renaults and Jeeps and the last two cars were Saturns.

My next car will be: Not sure.

If you have a favorite car (or truck), we want you to share your passion with our readers. Send a picture of you and your favorite car (it’s OK if you’re in the picture, but the car or truck must be prominent), and include the following information: your name and age, make, model and year of vehicle, when you bought it, why you love it (including a favorite experience with the car if you have one), and what you expect your next car will be. Send it to Pete Tormey, The Spokesman-Review, 999 W. Riverside Ave., Spokane, WA 99201 or via e-mail to petet@spokesman.com.
