St. George’s defeated Springdale 19-25, 25-23, 25-15, 25-10 in the championship game of the Panorama League 2B tournament Saturday at Springdale High School.

The Dragons will be the No. 1 seed to the district tournament while the Chargers will be No. 2.

Earlier in the day, Wellpinit beat Republic 13-25, 14-25, 25-17, 25-23, 16-14 and will be the No. 3 seed entering the district tournament. Republic will play in a district play-in game.

“Davenport defeated Wilbur-Creston 25-14, 25-16, 25-15 in the championship game of the Bi-County League tournament at Wilbur and will be the No. 1 seed entering the district tournament. Wilbur-Creston is the No. 2 seed. Stephanie Morrison had 10 kills and Mallory Mielke added 23 assists for Davenport’s Gorillas in the win. … Also at the tournament, Lind-Ritzville beat Liberty 25-17, 25-12, 25-18 and will be the No. 3 seed entering the district tournament. … Liberty defeated Reardan 8-25, 25-20, 25-23, 23-25, 15-13 and will be the No. 4 seed at the district tournament. Kylie Casselberry had 16 kills and Shawn Hennessey added 38 assists to lead Liberty’s Lancers.

“Jordan Emmil had 15 assists and seven aces to lead host Colville (9-6 Great Northern League) to a 25-12, 25-22, 25-16 win over Clarkston (1-12). Emilee Lepp had 10 kills and Rachel Vaagen contributed 10 digs for Colville’s Indians. Jaime Berghammer led the Bantams with six kills and three blocks.

Boys soccer

Lake City beat Coeur d’Alene 2-0 in the Idaho State 5A consolation championship match at the Boise Capital Soccer Complex in Meridian. The Timberwolves (18-2-1) took fourth place while CdA (15-4-3) took sixth.

“In the State 3A consolation championship game, Community School beat Bonners Ferry 3-2, finishing in fourth place. The Badgers took sixth place. Community School’s Travis Stone had a hat trick. Jesus Mendez led Bonners Ferry (9-5-3) with one goal and one assist. Jody Wilkerson scored the Badgers’ other goal. Cedar Bolton had 17 saves for Bonners Ferry.

Girls soccer

K.K. Long had two goals to lead Bishop Kelly past Lakeland 4-3 in an Idaho State 4A tournament match at the Boise Capital Soccer Complex in Meridian. Bishop Kelly took third place while Lakeland (12-6-2) took fifth. Natalie Nichols scored twice for the Hawks. Lauren Coyle had Lakeland’s other goal. Lakeland finished second place in last year’s state event.
