Saturday’s letter to the editor from Scott Rohwer, “Veterans sold short,” contained two errors that occurred as the letter was being transcribed for publication.

The first sentence should have read: “I am referring to Fred Alderson’s letter to the editor in the Oct. 6 Spokesman-Review in which he claims Goldmark’s ad is extremely misleading.”

A later sentence in the letter, which alluded to a Goldmark campaign ad featuring Rohwer and a fellow veteran, should have read: “My fellow veteran and I stand behind what we said in our ad.”
