Evgeni Malkin scored a goal in his fourth consecutive game to start his career, fellow Pittsburgh rookie Jordan Staal scored his third goal in two games and the Penguins beat the New Jersey Devils 4-2 on Tuesday night in Pittsburgh.

Senators 6, Maple Leafs 2: At Toronto, Mike Fisher and five others scored to lead Ottawa to a victory over Toronto. Andrej Meszaros, Patrick Eaves, Antoine Vermette, Dany Heatley and Chris Neil also scored for the Senators.

Flames 6, Coyotes 1: At Calgary, Alberta, Chuck Kobasew, Kristian Huselius and Roman Hamrlik each scored power-play goals and Daymond Langkow had a pair of assists to lead Calgary to a victory over Phoenix. Owen Nolan scored the lone goal for the Coyotes.
