James Henry and Evan Palo scored two goals apiece as visiting Lake City defeated Lakeland 6-2 in Inland Empire League boys soccer Saturday at Rathdrum.

Jake Williamson assisted on two goals for the Timberwolves (4-0-0, 2-0-0), and teammates Ryan Hague and Jason Wheelocks scored one goal each.

Ben Johnson and Marcus Williams scored for the Hawks (0-4-0, 0-3-0).

In another IEL game, Blake Inlow scored a goal in the 40th minute on an assist from Jordan Correia as visiting Coeur d’Alene (2-0-3, 1-0-1) forced a 1-1 tie with Sandpoint (1-3-2, 1-2-1). Kyle Meaux scored for the Bulldogs on a pass from R.J. Dixon.

•Seth Johnson and Ryan Lame scored in the first half to lead Orofino to a 2-1 victory over St. Maries in Intermountain League action at Orofino. Chris Doman scored in the second half on a Rafferty Eggleston assist to bring the Lumberjacks (1-3-0, 0-2-0) within one goal. Orofino (1-1-0, 1-0-0) outshot St. Maries 15-6. Goalkeeper Keaton Buell had nine saves for the Lumberjacks.
