Auditions

Box ‘n’ Hat Players – Spokane Civic Theatre Academy, today, 4 p.m. at the theater, 1020 N. Howard. For ages 11-18. Auditioners should prepare a verse and chorus of a song and be prepared to move. Rehearsals will be held once a week during the school year. Call (509) 325-1413.

Pend Oreille Players Association – Auditions for the second annual Fall-A-Palooza are today from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Stratton Elementary School, Newport, Wash. Singers, dancers, actors and storytellers are invited to audition with a four- to five-minute act (should be suitable for all ages). Performance date: Sept. 30. “The Nutcracker!” – Spokane Children’s Theatre is holding auditions for this musical play (not a ballet) Sunday and Monday at 7 p.m. at St. Aloysius School, 610 E. Mission. Needed: 10-20 boys and girls ages 8-18; three to five men and four to eight women ages 18 and older. Performance dates: Nov. 24-Dec. 16. Call (509) 328-4886.

“Mame” – Spokane Civic Theatre, Sept. 24 and 25, 6:30 p.m., 1020 N. Howard. Auditioners should prepare a verse and chorus of a song not from “Mame” and be prepared to move.
