NIC students’ visual arts work displayed at Valleyfest

The work of North Idaho College graphic design students is on display at the Valleyfest community event, which runs through Sunday at Mirabeau Meadows Park in Spokane Valley.

On exhibit is “Literacy,” a collection of visual arts pieces based on a literacy theme created through coursework in a level-three illustration class.

Graphic design students who worked on “Literacy” include Yuliya Yefremova, of Coeur d’Alene; Shelley Page, Dalton Gardens; Chad Severtson, Post Falls; Jack Knecht, Princeton; Susie Lam, Coeur d’Alene; Aaron Barton, Coeur d’Alene; and Julie Peterson, Hayden.

Other works by NIC graphic design students in class also are on display.

Exibits include a book and DVD covers by Krista Brand, of Coeur d’Alene; a magazine layout and packaging by Jesh Barlow, of Coeur d’Alene; a book cover by Jamie Murphy, of Post Falls; an illustration and packaging by Sophia Diaz, of Coeur d’Alene; an illustration by Jessica Herbig, of Coeur d’Alene; and packaging and a book cover by Matt Brazee, of Post Falls.
