Hints from Heloise
Dear Heloise: I usually watch the news at night to see what the weather is going to be the next day so that I can dress accordingly. However, sometimes the weatherperson is not on the mark.
We recently moved to a house that has a garage, which we always park our vehicles in, so I don’t find out that the weather has changed until I am on my way to work. Sometimes I have on capris and sandals when I really should have worn pants and closed-toe shoes.
So, now before I change out of my pajamas, I step out onto the back deck to check the weather. This has saved me several times from being cold the whole day. Hope someone else can use this. – Karen Kay, Universal City, Texas
Karen, you are right! The other day, the TV said that it was going to be clear and 72. When I got up and started my day, it was raining and a little chilly, so it is always better to check outside so that you aren’t surprised! – Heloise
