Feature creature: Missy

Marion Wilson correspondent

This resilient kitty was uprooted from her home after giving birth. Her babies were adopted, and Missy was discarded immediately for spaying and foster placement. What a shock when she discovered she had a new home but no kittens.

But that didn’t stop Missy from adopting a new litter at her foster home. She tended to the strangers as if they were her own. Since then, she has acclimated well but craves more human attention. She loves to have her coat brushed, is playful and is an all-around great companion.
