What do you like about North Idaho? It’s just beautiful here. Besides, I like the culture offered by North Idaho College and Spokane, and my husband and I are big NIC basketball boosters. Also, the many lakes all are beautiful.

What do you like or dislike about the current season? I don’t like the gray skies, but I recognize the rain makes it beautiful.

Favorite books: Anything by Ernest Hemingway, including the short stories “Up in Michigan,” “A Farewell to Arms” and “For Whom the Bell Tolls”

Favorite spot in North Idaho? Why? Lake Coeur d’Alene. I drove a bookmobile around it for two-and-a-half years and never found a bad day. It’s always beautiful.
