Kids: Grab your crayons and color a winner
It’s time to get those crayons out again.
We’re sponsoring a coloring contest as part of Our Kids: Our Business, a month-long effort to help prevent child abuse in our community.
The contest is intended as a way to get kids’ voices into the discussion.
Although this contest is tied to the abuse prevention project, we’re not necessarily asking for kids to incorporate that theme into their designs. Just color the pinwheel and have fun.
You can use crayons, markers, glitter, jelly beans, ribbons – anything you want.
The original entry form ran on April 1, but it’s not too late to enter. Just go to spokesmanreview.com/coloringcontest to download and print your own entry form.
Three winners will be chosen from each of three age groups: 0-4, 5-8 and 9-12. Each winner will receive a gift certificate for two admissions to Mobius Kids at River Park Square.
The nine winning entries will be published in The Spokesman-Review on April 23.
All of the entries will be on display at Mobius from April 23 through 30.
The entry deadline is 5 p.m. next Monday.
