Whitworth Orchestra to perform

The Whitworth Orchestra will present its spring concert, “Concerto,” April 22 at 3 p.m. in Cowles Auditorium at Whitworth College.

The orchestra will perform “Seascapes” and “Fanfare,” composed by associate professor of music Brent Edstrom. The program also will include “Concertino da Camera,” by Jacques Ibert, featuring soloist Nathanael Ankeny (‘08); “Concerto for Trombone and Orchestra” by Henri Tomasi, featuring soloist Greg Hoff (‘07); and “Fantaisie,” by Georges Hue, featuring soloist Maya Lewis (‘10).
