NEW FACES Linda Russell has been hired by Idaho Trust National Bank as a trust officer and vice president. She has more than 30 years of experience in personal trust administration and was previously a vice president and trust office at Davidson Trust Company.

Keane Sweet has been hired for the residential landscape sales team at Clearwater Summit Group. He previously worked for Classic Nursery and Landscape Company in Redmond, Wash.

Allen McClelland has been hired as a commercial loan officer at Washington Trust Bank’s new branch in Sandpoint. He previously worked at Wells Fargo Bank.

Foster Pepper has hired Milton Rowland for its litigation practice group in Spokane. Rowland previously was a city of Spokane assistant city attorney. He holds a degree from the Gonzaga School of Law and has been an adjunct professor with the Gonzaga School of Law for 20 years.

Dr. Timothy Veenstra has been hired by Holy Family Hospital. He holds a degree from the University of New Mexico School of Medicine.

Damir Rusnov has been hired by Klundt | Hosmer as a web developer. He previously contracted as a web developer for Assisted Living Software Systems.

Sterling Savings Bank has hired Shawn Swartout as vice president and security director. He previously was vice president and information security officer for Washington Mutual.

Leif Hanson has been hired as a staff architect at the Spokane office of USKH Inc. He is a graduate of North Dakota State University.

Rick and April Watkins have been hired as real estate agents at Exit Real Estate North.

Rhoda Reich has been hired as a physician assistant at Rockwood Clinic. She is a graduate of the University of Washington’s Medex Physician Assistant Program.

PROMOTIONS Pete Lamaestra has been promoted to assistant vice president–branch manager at Washington Trust Bank. He has nine years of experience in the banking industry.

Jarod Crooks has been promoted to director of finance at Holy Family Hospital. He has worked for Providence Health Care for seven years.

Stacy Bernath has been promoted to landscape design manager at Clearwater Summit Group.

Henry Ortega has been promoted from designer to art director at Klundt | Hosmer. He has been with the company since 1999.

Christie Grassmyer has been promoted from assistant general manager to general manager of the Hampton Inn Spokane. She has been with the company since 2005.

Dr. Joel Hernandez has been hired by Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital in the practice of pediatrics and pediatric nephrology. He holds a degree from the University of the Philippines and completed his internship and residency at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan.

Art Wirz has been promoted from executive chef to director of hospitality at the Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort Hotel. He had been the executive chef since 2004.

Jim Huber has been promoted from branch manager to Eastern Washington business development officer at the Washington State Employees Credit Union. He has more than 28 years of experience.

KUDOS Emily Guevarra Bozzi has received the Gold Hall of Fame Award at Northwest Best Direct for being the top producing account executive five years in a row. Jim Miller was the silver winner and Lynn Hanley was the bronze winner.

The Courtyard by Marriott has received the Silver Award for Guest Satisfaction from Marriott International at the Marriott North American and International Lodging general manager’s conference.

Wendle Ford has received its fifth President’s Award from Ford Motor Company. The award is given to Ford dealers who rank highest in customer service scores in their region and achieve sales objectives. The award was given to nearly 350 dealers out of 4,000.
