My favorite car: 1949 Willy’s Overland Jeepster

Name: Mike and Wanda Dillon, Mead.

Purchased: January 1980.

Why we love it: This Jeepster was frame-up built with a 427-425-hp Chevrolet engine, 400 turbo, plus Dana front and rear drivetrain. It ran 11.0 in the quarter-mile and never lost, even on the street. The Jeepster was a real sleeper. MPG: 6.

Our next car will be: Already purchased, a 2006 Toyota Prius. MPG: 54.
