Fire District 8 – The chief spoke about a plan to update the auto aid agreement with Valley Fire. The district’s 60th anniversary is coming up; commissioners plan to have an open house Aug. 11. There was an update on several upgrade projects about to begin, including replacing the roof and painting at Station 84. Two engines currently being leased by Fire District 11 were declared surplus.
