Making a clean stomach of it

One of the worst-kept celebrity “secrets” is a secret no longer: Star Jones Reynolds had gastric bypass surgery.

Reynolds, who has skirted questions about her dramatic weight loss, finally fesses up in an eassay in September’s Glamour magazine.

“I was … terrified someone would have a tragic result after emulating me without making an informed decision with her doctor,” writes Reynolds, who dropped 160 pounds in three years following the 2003 operation.

“But the complete truth is, I was scared of what people might think of me,” she continues. “I was afraid to be vulnerable and ashamed at not being able to get myself under control without this procedure.”

Reynolds, who weighed 307 pounds at her heaviest, says her “out-of-control behavior” began around her 40th birthday in 2002. Feeling lonely, she turned to food for comfort and gained 75 pounds.

“I used to look in the mirror and take pride in my figure, but that was when I was legitimately a full-figured woman,” she says.

“I’d gradually gone from full-figured to morbidly obese.”

Speaking of losing ugly pounds …

The Britney Spears-Kevin Federline marriage is officially over.

A Los Angeles court commissioner signed orders Monday for dissolution of marriage, an alimony agreement and child custody. Details of the latter two were sealed.

The couple have been sharing joint custody of their two sons, 22-month-old Sean Preston and 10-month-old Jayden James.

Ushers, stand by

Singer Usher and his pregnant fiancée may have canceled their scheduled wedding on Saturday, but they’re apparently still together.

“As of right now we don’t have a date, but we will let you know when we do,” he told Usmagazine.com in a story posted Tuesday.

As for reports that fiancée Tameka Foster had checked into a hospital because of problems with her pregnancy, she told People.com: “We had a scare. But, I am fine, and the baby is fine.”

Living the high lie

Former “American Idol” contestant Corey Clark has been arrested on drug charges.

Clark was disqualified after reaching the finals of the Fox TV talent competition in 2003 for failing to reveal a previous arrest.

He later accused “Idol” judge Paula Abdul of coaching him and initiating an affair. A Fox investigation cleared her of any wrongdoing.

His new album: ‘Let it Go’

Callers to a morning radio show in Lafayette, La., said they were embarrassed and angry that a female fan grabbed country star Tim McGraw‘s crotch as he left the stage after his concert at the Cajundome last weekend.

McGraw’s wife, singer Faith Hill, called the woman out, saying: “Someone needs to teach you some class, my friend.”
